Accommodation Registration for a Make-up Test
How to Submit Use ONLINE registration Info A make-up test is considered to be any term test or in-class assignment that is scheduled for a date other than the originally-scheduled date assigned by the course instructor.
Tests are the property of course instructors. Test and Exam Services and Accessibility Services are not authorized to excuse a student from writing a test nor are Test and exam Services and Accessibility Services authorized to assign alternate test dates (e.g. a "make-up" date). If a student is unable to write a test, s/he must approach his/her course instructor to discuss his/her options.
Please be aware that requesting a make-up sitting of a test does not guarantee authorization for a make-up sitting of a test. Course instructors are not obligated to authorize make-up sittings of tests nor give any other special consideration with regard to a student's decision not to write a test on the regularly-scheduled date and time.
If a course instructor approves a make-up test, s/he must specify the date and time that the make-up test is to be written. The student must then follow the guidelines and deadlines for test registration (with accommodations).
